We present Pandora , a new software to model, detect, and characterize transits of extrasolar planets with moons in stellar photometric time series. uses an analytical description the transit light curve for both planet moon front star atmospheric limb darkening it covers all cases mutual planet–moon eclipses during transit. The orbital motion star-planet-moon system is computed high accuracy as nested Keplerian problem. have optimized computational speed make suitable large-scale exomoon searches era space-based high-accuracy surveys. demonstrate usability by first simulating four hypothetical Jupiter giant Neptune-sized one-year orbit around Sun-like star. 10 min cadence data matches that upcoming PLATO mission noise 100 parts per million dominated photon noise, assuming photometrically quiet, m V = 11 practicality. recovered simulated parameters UltraNest Bayesian inference package. run-time this search about five hours on standard computer. photodynamical open-source detection algorithm, implemented fully python programming language available community join exomoons.
